This
music on this page represents my work over the past couple of years.
The oldest song on here is no more than 2 years old. As part of a project
to
get some of this music out of my head I have been working to record it
in my basement on my computer. These songs are about as finished as
I can make them. They are in no
way perfect (which if you know me, you know annoys the hell out of me).
Most of the tracks on MOST of the songs are played by me. There are
a few
exceptions that i have noted below each track. Eventually, this will
be a CD I will give to friends and family. Hopefully their life insurance
policies are paid up.
I appreciate your interest in them. Please feel free to download and
listen at will. But if you would be so kind as to go to my contact page
when you are done and let me know what you thought... what you didn't
like as well as what you did... I would GREATLY appreciate it!

After a particularly inspiring trip to Elvis's home, and standing in front of it, I came home and wrote this song.
The Beat in My Heart (3:48)
This song is about finding that person that makes your heart skip. Sometimes you barely even know their name. That feeling never gets old. Did YOU ever feel that?
Just in Case (4:00)
I started writing this song in very early Sept 2001. I was on vacation and was feeling especially lost and disconnected. I wrote the first verse at that time and left the song unfinished. When I went to work on it several weeks later it was just a few days after the events of Sept. 11. Like everything in our lives at that time, this song couldn't help but be touched by those days. It isn't ABOUT Sept. 11. It is about being able to let go.

This song is about my daughter and my completely unrealistic (admittedly) burden.
Make Your Move (3:40)
Julianne really made this song for me. It is about a person who waits for the world to come to them as opposed to standing up and doing something for themselves. Many of these people have a lot to offer that never gets offered either because they lack the confidence or the fortitude to fight the fight. Once again, this is one of my preachy songs that says... in a way... "get on with it already!"
